Cieszyn and Czech Republic Cieszyn are twin cities connected by history. Located on both sides of the Olza river, at the foot of the Beskid Śląski (Silesian Beskid) invites tourists to visit their quaint sights. A mobile tourist application, created at the request of Cieszyn commune, has a variety of places for tourists – primarily monuments, attractions, gastronomy, and accommodation facilities, accompanied by descriptions and photos. There are suggestions of several tourist routes, leading the user through the quaintest places in the area. Additionally, there are three geolocation-based games, allowing tourists to sightsee a region in a different manner.
The mobile guide for smartphones also contains information about the history of the city and a planner, in which the user can insert their favourite monuments and routs. The mobile application was created in five languages: Polish, Czech, English, French, and German, and it does not require an Internet connection to function; only the database needs to be updated beforehand. With our mobile tourist guide, we invite you to Cieszyn!
