The ‘Ekomuzea’ (Ecomuseums) is a mobile guide application aimed at residents, tourists, runners, and cyclists visiting the area of 5 Associations.
The application shows the user how to easily and conveniently search and reach tourist attractions and recommended sights. It offers quick access to tourist attractions of user's choice, makes traveling easier, and encourages users to learn about history and culture. The content has been prepared in three languages: Polish, Romanian, and English. Everyone will find something of interest: castles, palaces, places of religious worship, monuments, natural attractions, as well as sports and recreational facilities. Thousands of colourful photos, interesting descriptions of objects, and kilometres of routes gathered in one place.
Moreover, Ekomuzea is a database of tourist routes, including cycling, running, Nordic walking, and many more. While traveling, one can use navigation, keeping track of all the places and sights marked on the route. The application uses GPS technology to locate the user's position, sights, or local products. Moreover, it navigates to a selected place, sight, or route. The application works, both, online and offline.
The Ekomuzea mobile application is the result of international cooperation as part of the project entitled: ‘Tourist Brand - Ekomuseum Network’ co-financed by the European Union.
